My Why:

Children are the most precious and interesting little beings on the planet. They have wild imaginations and aren't afraid to be themselves. They laugh hard, they play hard, and they are my why! I want to create magical moments. I want to give them a place to fall into a bliss of story time and imagination. My favorite children's stories have a sweet lesson and fun characters. I hope to spark some joy in reading and make kids want to curl up with a book and explore.

A Little About Me:

I am a mom of two wonderful boys, a wife to a kind-hearted husband, a teacher of amazing students, and an Aunt Shae Shae to seven nieces and nephews. I love dogs and would adopt every one of them if I could. I enjoy being creative, gardening, listening to music, and taking nature walks. In addition to writing, I also illustrated three of my books, "That's Not My Mess", "Punctuation Pals", and "Flamingos Can't Drive".

 I recently published my 17th book and I am currently working on a chapter book and a series that will be released later this year. All of my books have a connection to someone or something in my life; I use it as my inspiration!
